Why an underground concrete tank?

Waterproofing matters most underground
An underground tank is surrounded by soil, moisture and sometimes groundwater. Without external waterproofing, moisture and salts can enter or water can leak out. That is why every tank we make is bitumen-coated outside and chemically lined inside. Read more in our waterproofing guide.
What do you need before installation?

How deep should the pit be?
It depends on the tank height you choose (2.80 to 3.30 m) and your ground level. We give you exact dimensions before excavation.
Is an underground tank affected by groundwater?
Not with external bitumen waterproofing, which is standard on all our tanks.
What does the warranty cover?
A 10-year warranty on manufacturing and installation, covering cracks and leaks.
How long does installation take?
The tank arrives ready-made from the factory; crane installation usually takes one day once the site is prepared. We agree the delivery date when you order.
